This tour features the famous marks of history lying at the Golden Triangle of Delhi, Agra and Jaipur. Delhi had always been the centre of various kingdoms in its history of 3,000 years. Agra was the centre of the medieval Mughal empire. This city of grandeur, art and culture has the gem of Indian architecture - the Taj Mahal. Jaipur, the princely state capital, was painted pink (the traditional colour of welcome) in honor of the visit of Prince Albert, consort to Queen Victoria in 1883.

Day 1:   Arrive Bangalore

Meet & greet at the Airport upon arrival. Transfer & check in to the Hotel. Bangalore is the face of the developing India, India as a technology Giant, as the new hub for Software where the ancient culture still thrives living just next door to modernism
Day 2: Bangalore - Mysore.(140 kms)

After Breakfast a short city tour of the Silicon Valley of India. Thereafter proceed to the ancient state of Mysore. Enroute visit the ancient temple at Somnathpur.

Day 3: Mysore

Full Day Sightseeing of Mysore including the Mysore Palace & Srirangapatnam, Tipu's ancient capital.
 
Day 4: Mysore - Hassan (120 kms)  
Mysore Palace
Drive from Mysore to Hassan. Enroute stop at Sravanbelgola, One of the major Pilgrim centre of the Jain Religion. Further drive to Hassan. Afternoon excursion to the beautiful temples of Belur & Halebid
Day 5: Hassan - Coorg ( 120 kms)

After Morning breakfast check out hotel and proceed to Coorg on arrival coorg check in to hotel. Coorg is also called as Madikeri or Kodagu it is the birthplace of the River Cauvery and home of some of India's bravest soldiers, Kodagu is noted for its scenic beauty. Hiking, cross-country, or simply motoring down mountain trails in Coorg.
 
Day 6: Coorg
A day to enjoy in coorg. Among other sightseeing activities we can arrange a coffee plantation visit for you !!
 
Day 7: Coorg - Calicut (280 kms)

After breakfast we drive through the thickest rainforest of India, to Calicut (Kozhikode), which means literally "cock rowing". The town Calicut played a major role in Kerala's history as the capital of the Zamorin Rajas ( rulers).
 
Day 8: Calicut – Cochin(225 kms)

After breakfast drive to Kochi, enroute visiting the construction of DHOW, a typical Kerala hand made boat. Kerala, apart from being very green, is also very colorful and the traditional culture remains intact here. Evening at leisure.
 
Day 9: Cochin

A City that blends in the the influence of medieval Portugal, Holland and England, still seen in this fast growing coastal city. It is also known as the spice city of India. Most of the exports of spices are done from here.

Our morning tour will include the St. Francis Church, where Vasco da Gama was buried for 14 years before his remains were transferred to Lisbon. His tombstone still stands here. The church was built in 1503 by Portuguese Franciscan friars. Nearby are the Chinese Fishing Nets along Vypeen Island (set up between 1350 - 1450 AD), The Mattancherry Palace or "Dutch Palace" built in 1557 AD ( closed on Fridays) and behind the Palace is the Jewish Synagogue, constructed 1568 AD, with hand-painted willow-pattern floor tiles brought from Canton in the mid-18th century by a Rabbi, who had trading interests there. In the evening we enjoy Kathakali, an ancient religious dance drama of Kerala. This is generally performed in the temples and is said to have been performed for the past 1,500 years.
 
Day 10: Cochin – Kumarakom (90 kms)
Drive to Kumarakom. Check in to the Hotel. Rest of the day at Leisure
 
Day 11: Kumarakom
A full day at Leisure to indulge in Ayurveda, swim around or just to laze around the pool or read a favourite best seller with the fresh calm breeze from lake Vembanad to soothe your soul.
 
Day12 : Kumarakom - Periyar ( 140 kms)
Today, in the morning leave Kumarakom to reach Periyar, the most well known wildlife reserve of south India. Also, known by the name of Thekkady Wildlife Sanctuary, Periyar is around 140 km away from Kumarakom. Once you reach Periyar, check into your hotel and relax for a while. Evening Boat ride.
 
Day13 : Periyar - Madurai (190 kms)
Morning drive to Madurai. Madurai-one of south India's most ancient city, on the banks of the River Vaigai, has been an important center of workship and commerce for as long as there has been civilization in South India - indeed, it has long been described as "the Athens of the East". The Meenakshi Temple in the heart of the old town is the supreme attraction here. A rightfully flamboyant example of Dravidian architecture it has gopurams covered from top to bottom with vibrant images of deities, animals and mythical figures.

Day14 : Madurai - Trichy (180 kms)
Drive from Madurai to Trichy visiting the brihadeshwara temple in Tanjore, one of the architectural splendours of South India.
 
Day15 : Trichy
Half day sightseeing of Trichy. Optional excursion to Rameswaram - a temple city.
 
Day16 : Trichy - Pondicherry (196 kms)
Drive to Pondicherry. Pondicherry is famous for the Aurobindo ashram & the French flavour that the city still boasts
 
Day17 : Pondicherry
Morning breakfast at Hotel. After breakfast, visit Pondicherry and the famous Aurbindo Ashram, Temples etc.
 
Day18 : Pondicherry - Kancheepuram - Mahabalipuram ( 230 kms)
After breakfast we drive to Kanchipuram, the erstwhile Capital of the pallava & chola rulers. Sightseeing of Kanchipuram temples. Thereafter Proceed to Mahabalipuram
 
Day19 : Mahabalipuram
After Breakfast sightseeing of Mahabalipuram. Rest of the day at Leisure.
 
Day20 : Mahabalipuram
Day at Leisure
 
Day21 : Mahabalipuram - Chennai Fly Out
In the course of the day transfer to the International Airport at Chennai to connect to your Flight back home.
