This tour features the famous marks of history lying at the Golden Triangle of Delhi, Agra and Jaipur. Delhi had always been the centre of various kingdoms in its history of 3,000 years. Agra was the centre of the medieval Mughal empire. This city of grandeur, art and culture has the gem of Indian architecture - the Taj Mahal. Jaipur, the princely state capital, was painted pink (the traditional colour of welcome) in honor of the visit of Prince Albert, consort to Queen Victoria in 1883.

Day 1:   Arrive Delhi
Welcome to Delhi

Arrival at Delhi. Upon arrival you will be met by the Innovative representative in the Arrival Visitor Area who will arrange your transfer to the hotel.

Check in at the hotel and overnight stay.
Day 2: Delhi - City Tour
India Gate Delhi

Morning city tour of New Delhi visiting Humayun's Tomb, India Gate, Government Buildings, Presidents Palace, Shanti Path, Qutab Minar.

After a short lunch break resume the afternoon sightseeing tour of the city visiting Old Delhi area consisting of Rajghat, Red Fort, Chandni Chowk and the Jama Masjid.
Overnight stay

Day 3: Delhi - Jaipur

Drive to Jaipur along a modern Toll Highway which forms an integral part of the Golden Quadrilateral project launched by the government. It is a pleasant drive of about 4 ½ hours and you have the option to stop enroute at the 15 th century Fort Palace at Neemrana which has been converted to run as a Heritage hotel.

Upon arrival at Jaipur check in at the hotel and overnight stay.
 
Day 4: Jaipur

Begin your tour of the Pink city with an excursion to the Amber Fort. where an elephant ride is also provided (subject to availability as the. Afternoon city sightseeing visiting Maharajah's Palace, Royal Observatory, Hawa Mahal, Johari Bazaar. Overnight stay.
Day 5: Jaipur - Agra
Taj Mahal
Drive for Agra visiting the abandoned Mughal capital of Fatehpur Sikri enroute. Arrive Agra by early evening and check in at your hotel. Overnight stay at Agra.
 
Day 6: Agra
Welcome to Taj Mahal
Full day city tour of Agra including a visit to the Majestic Taj Mahal. Among the other monuments visited are the Fort and Itmad-ud-daulah. Overnight stay at Agra.
 
Day 7: Agra - Delhi  
Agra Delhi

Morning free at leisure. Late morning drive back to Delhi visiting Sikandara (just outside Agra city). It is possible to include a short visit to the birthplace of Lord Krishna at Vrindavan and the Ghats at Mathura however that would mean an early start from Agra.

Upon arrival at Delhi check in and overnight stay.

Farewell dinner on the eve of your departure from India at your hotel

 
Day 8: Flight from Delhi.
Early morning transfer to the airport for your flight back home.
